Support Community & Buy Local Beef
The truth is, food is getting scary out there, and food literacy is desperately important. Do you know where your food is raised, prepared, and grown? Doubtfully, anyone can be 100% sure, it seems it’s designed that way, to be difficult to decode, yet making the conscious choice to be more aware is something to strive for.
At the ranch, our home, we care to know where our food comes from, and how it gets to us. Food miles are a measurement of the distance a food item travels before it gets to the market. It’s not uncommon for a beef product to travel 1,500 miles before it gets to your dinner plate. Our cattle are born and raised exclusively on our ranch in Marble Falls. No long distant trucking that stresses the livestock. Just a short one-way trip to Johnson City. We care about the land, about the animals, community health, and food literacy. Consider buying local beef and support ranchers who gives a damn.
